Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows users to access separate digital properties — from software to company networks — with the same username and password.

SSO simplifies user access by eliminating the need to memorize a separate log-in for their digital tools. SSO also improves security since a user’s credentials aren’t kept with a third-party that could have security vulnerabilities.
