SecOps

SecOps describes the collaboration between IT security and operations teams to strengthen an organization’s cybersecurity posture. SecOps methods streamline communication across organizations to increase visibility and share responsibility to identify and mitigate threats quickly and efficiently.

Much like DevOps, a SecOps approach improves business agility by removing communication barriers and simplifying collaboration.
