Defining IT & technology terms

Organizational Change Management (OCM)

Organizational Change Management (OCM) refers to the approaches and strategies that prepare individuals for transformational change. As businesses adopt new and groundbreaking technologies like the cloud, employees need training and guidance to succeed in the post-change environment.

OCM is a critical step in ensuring a successful and sustainable technology or methodology adoption. During OCM, resistance is addressed and leaders are enabled to become change champions. Clear communication and effective training are also provided to help those most impacted by change navigate the new environment.
