Data lake

Data lakes allow you to store unprocessed data without size restrictions. A data lake can store a variety of data types, from relational data — information with defined relationships between each data point — stored in operational databases and non-relational data such as information sourced from social media.

This management system gives organizations the ability to crawl, categorize and index stored data to better understand it prior to processing and analysis. Data analysts can then easily pull information from the data lake into a user-friendly tool for deeper analysis.
