Insight Ranks #7 on Phoenix Business Journal’s 2019 ‘Best Places to Work’

Company’s culture of inclusion, leadership and innovation contribute to ranking as one of Arizona’s top enterprises

TEMPE, Ariz., December 16, 2019 – Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, has been named the #7 best place to work among Arizona companies with more than 1,000 workers by the Phoenix Business Journal.

The Journal announced the “Best Places to Work 2019” rankings at its 17th annual awards luncheon Thursday at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix before an audience of more than 800 local business leaders. This year 100 companies were considered across five categories of business size.

This is the fourth year in a row Insight, which employs more than 1,400 teammates in Arizona, has been ranked in the top 10 among extra-large businesses (1,000-plus employees). The rankings represent the best combination of workplace culture and employee benefits.

“Our consistent showing each year on the ‘Best Places to Work’ list reflects the care we put into being an employer of choice in Arizona and across the globe,” said Steve Dodenhoff, president, Insight North America. “In a highly competitive IT landscape, we thrive on our ability to champion people, leadership and culture, and a thoughtful approach to addressing our clients’ unique business needs. Our workplace celebrates teammates who think outside the box, excel through collaboration, and push the boundaries of what technology can do.”

This year Insight was recognized for fostering a culture of inclusion. The company launched several teammate-led resource groups, also known as affinity groups, that promote diversity, professional development, innovation and a further means to give back to the community. Other company perks include an on-site healthcare center, dietician and café; wellness initiatives; social events and fun days like Bring Your Dog to Work Day; and discount programs for fitness centers, daycare, entertainment and further education.

Insight also continues to give back through its Reach program, which emphasizes educational opportunities for children through technology. This includes annual fundraising for the United Way and a yearly Noble Cause campaign to support nonprofits like Ronald McDonald House Charities, Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of America. The In It Together Foundation, the company’s 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit program, now raises more than $400,000 annually through teammate and company donations to provide much-needed financial support to Insight teammates and their families in crisis situations.

“Working at Insight is an immersive experience. Our core values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony aren’t just words on a wall, our teammates live them every day. It’s punctuated by our desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. We do so through intelligent technology solutions that enhance how people work and live, and in the meaningful connections we make with our colleagues, our clients and our communities,” said Jen Vasin, senior vice president of human resources, Insight North America.
